The Town of Rural Hall is a council/manager form of government.  With this form of government, the manager handles the town’s day-to-day operations.  The mayor and council serve staggered, four-year terms with no term limits.

Council meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 7:00 P.M. in the Town Hall Council Chambers. Agenda briefings and action meetings are held the first Monday of each month at 3:00 P.M. in the Town Hall Council Chambers, unless otherwise posted.
